If Visions of Cycling provided an open-eye to the world of cycling, 'The Road to Hell' took the reader deep into the world of one-day classics, and exclusively the five 'monuments' - Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege and Giro di Lombardia. I discovered these one-day races many years before they became over-hyped on web-sites and podcasts, a time when the rugged nature of the courses was enjoyed by just a privileged few photographers and hated by a few hundred brave cyclists. I highlighted ten of my favourite classics riders of that generation, men like Phil Anderson, Sean Kelly, Eric Vanderaerden and Francesco Moser, true greats of our sport whose exploits live on to this present day.
NOTE: These books are brand new and still in cellophane. If you wish Graham to sign or write a message in the book, please let us know when you check-out. The cellophane will obviously need to be cut in order to do this! If you have any queries, please send me a message on jo@grahamwatson.kiwi.nz.
