This was my first-ever foray into the world of book publishing, but I got it easy as a co-author with the legendary American writer, Robin Magowan. Robin wrote some powerful words and all I had to do was match images to those words, images that had already been taken years before and were crying out for attention alongside appropriate text. Robin's love of cycling had initially been experienced just in the Tour de France, which we followed together a few times but I was amazed at the depth and emotion of his writing as Robin spread his wings to enjoy iconic events like Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Ireland. I needed little excuse to venture out to photograph even more events and so fill the blank spaces Robin had so thoughtfully left me. Robin was a gem of a writer and this is a gem of a book.
NOTE: These books are brand new and still in cellophane. If you wish Graham to sign or write a message in the book, please let us know when you check-out. The cellophane will obviously need to be cut in order to do this! If you have any queries, please send me a message on jo@grahamwatson.kiwi.nz.
